Finance Manager

Job Purpose

Provide financial support to the Finance Head, Finance Department, CFO, company management, and external partners in financial reporting, Treasury and tax matters to ensure financial integrity of the statutory and management accounting records/group management accounts

Key Accountabilities

Invoicing / Sales Closure:

Invoicing & tracking from local entities to customers – Distributor and Tenders Keeping track of Pricing Ensure right level of Free Goods, samples & Quality/Certification Publishing the Sales to HO – Daily Update and Monthly reports Provisions for Sales returns

Financial Closing

Annual Issuing of Cipla’s Financial statements under Brazilian & Colombian regulatory framework, based on Cipla’s technical System. Manages and ensures the monthly closing are done according to deadlines Develops and reviews financial and operational reports/models for company management and Global accounting Facilitates the process in preparing statutory, consolidated annual financial statements, compliant with IFRS and the Companies Act Responsible for the preparation of subsidiary statutory financial statements Responsible for Treasury Area (Scheduling Payments, maintaining tracker, Bank reconciliation statement, Cashflow statement). Tracking of Fixed Assets & Inventory on monthly basis Ensures that there is consistency in the accounting Ensures foreign exchange is consistently accounted Provide financial information to external business partners (banks, insurance broker, auditors etc.) Assists with monthly, Quarterly and annual closing of accounting records Intercompany reconciliations Assist with quarterly audit reviews and annual financial statement audit

Tax, Audit & Compliance:

Coordinating with Statutory Auditor and ensure on time closure Help in other audits – Revenue Audit, Internal Audit etc. Ensure Tax compliance – Direct Tax, VAT etc. Brazil & Closing Transfer Pricing every month, Coordinate with Tax consultant to ensure Transfer pricing returns are filed on time. Timely payments to Government for all Taxes Continued checks on Internal Compliance – Marketing, HR and all other functions Prepare quarterly taxes calculations. Calculate provisional tax payment amounts Prepare monthly VAT calculations and submission of VAT returns Resolve all tax related queries Responsible for obtaining Tax clearance certificates

Educational Qualifications:

Semi Qualified CPA / CPA Completed Good communication skills – English Speaking compulsory Intermediate Excel Skills Experience with Accounting Software – TOTVS & SIIGO (Preferable)

Relevant Experience:

Minimum 5 Years of experience in Accounting & Audit in Brazil and Colombia additionally would be preferable
