About the RoleAs a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for the full accounting close cycle, including monthly and year-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. ●The role also includes a financial analysis component, supporting management with financial performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and operational reporting. ●You will work closely with colleagues in Brazil, China, and Argentina, making strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and cross-cultural collaboration essential. ●?? Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly and annual accounting closing process, including closing schedules, checklists, and follow-up of outstanding items. ●
• Prepare, review, and maintain journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability. ●
• Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and prepare reconciliation reports. ●
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and management reports. ●
• Support internal and external audits by providing accounting data and documentation. ●
• Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards, including Brazilian local requirements. ●
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports to support business decision-making. ●
• Monitor financial KPIs and recommend corrective actions where necessary. ●
• Analyze operating expenses, costs, and profitability. ●
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting. ●
• Support AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and cash-flow forecasting. ●
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and strengthen internal controls. ●
• Operate and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of TOTVS (Protheus). ●Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. ●
• 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, General Ledger, finance, or FP&A. ●
• Hands-on experience with:Month-end and year-end closingJournal entriesAccount reconciliationsFinancial statement preparationFinancial analysis and reportingBudgeting and forecastingCash-flow managementAP/ARBank reconciliation
• Experience with an ERP system. ●
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. ●
• Familiarity with applicable accounting standards and compliance requirements. ● IFRS knowledge is preferred. ●
• Experience supporting multinational or offshore/shared-service teams is a plus, particularly exposure to Latin America or Brazil. ●
• Knowledge of FX operations and international trade is a plus. ●
• Fluent English for professional communication. ●| Important RequirementsThis position supports our Brazil subsidiary, so successful candidates must:Be willing to work according to Brazil (Brasília) business hours, including evening/night shifts in the Philippines. ●Be committed to learning Portuguese after joining. ● Existing Portuguese or Spanish knowledge is a strong advantage. ●Be willing to learn and become proficient in TOTVS (Protheus), the Brazilian local finance system. ●Be comfortable working remotely with colleagues from China, Brazil, and Argentina. ●??
