Position Overview

The

Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Team Leader

is responsible for leading a team of Asset Management Analysts and ensuring the accuracy, governance, and lifecycle integrity of all hardware asset data. This role oversees asset-related projects, service processes, equipment lifecycle activities, and system data management to maintain high-quality, compliant asset records. Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the Asset Management team delivering HAM services Oversee projects, service processes, and asset movements to ensure data accuracy within asset management systems Manage the registration and lifecycle tracking of IT hardware (desktops, notebooks, VDIs, monitors) Govern equipment disposal and ensure accurate inventory write-offs in administrative systems Proactively identify and correct data inconsistencies; support users with inventory-related inquiries Coordinate hardware collection, reuse, and full lifecycle management (HLCM), including reporting and KPI tracking Manage leasing contracts and support hardware refresh programs Prepare reporting for internal Lenovo and customer meetings Act as an escalation point for customer satisfaction issues Participate in regular customer meetings Partner with the Service Delivery Manager on HR responsibilities including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Develop and execute team training and development plans, ensuring ongoing skill and certification updates Manage resource allocation, forecasting, absenteeism, and turnover Key Competencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership and CIOs Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while balancing customer and business needs Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) Experience with CMDB systems (ServiceNow preferred) Experience with Flexera or similar asset management tools Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM and Intune (preferred) Working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM methodologies and best practices Professional fluency in English Qualifications & Experience
