Shape the Future of Omnichannel Order Management

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce OMS (Salesforce Order Management) Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale order management solutions within a complex omnichannel commerce environment.

This is a strategic and hands-on architecture role, responsible for defining scalable OMS solutions, driving technical excellence, and ensuring seamless integration across critical business systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative order lifecycle capabilities that support order capture, fulfillment, inventory visibility, logistics, and post-purchase customer experiences.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define end-to-end Salesforce OMS architecture and solution strategy.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions covering:
• Order Capture
• Order Orchestration
• Inventory Allocation & Visibility
• Fulfillment Processes
• Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
• Design multi-channel and multi-org Salesforce architectures when required.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

Salesforce OMS Implementation

• Architect and implement Salesforce Order Management (OMS/SOM) solutions.
• Design order lifecycle orchestration and fulfillment processes.
• Define inventory visibility and allocation strategies.
• Drive the adoption of standard Salesforce capabilities before considering custom development.
• Support advanced customizations using:
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flows
• Platform Automation Tools

Enterprise Integrations & System Architecture

• Design and govern integrations between Salesforce OMS and external platforms, including:
• ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Payment Providers
• Logistics & Shipping Platforms
• Define API strategies and integration frameworks.
• Architect real-time, asynchronous, and batch integration patterns.
• Collaborate with middleware teams and platforms such as MuleSoft.
• Design event-driven and service-oriented architectures to support scalability and resilience.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership across OMS programs and initiatives.
• Mentor developers, consultants, and technical teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution reviews, and technical assessments.
• Establish governance models, development standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Performance, Scalability & Reliability

• Design solutions capable of supporting high transaction volumes and peak demand periods.
• Optimize application performance, system reliability, and data processing.
• Ensure architecture supports future business growth and evolving commerce requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business leaders, Product Owners, Architects, and delivery teams.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and define solution roadmaps.
• Present architecture decisions and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor on Salesforce OMS best practices and capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Essential Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT and enterprise solution delivery.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Salesforce Architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce Order Management (OMS/SOM) solutions.
• Strong expertise in:
• Salesforce OMS
• Sales Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Commerce Cloud
• Strong understanding of:
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flows
• Extensive experience with:
• Integration Patterns
• API Design
• Middleware Solutions
• Enterprise System Architecture
• Deep understanding of order lifecycle management and commerce ecosystems.
• Strong data modeling and architecture design skills.
• Professional English communication skills (B2 or above).

• Salesforce OMS Accreditation.
• Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce and B2B Commerce.
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience designing Event-Driven Architectures.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with:

• Git

• Jenkins
• Azure DevOps
