Revenue Accountant - Detalhes da Vaga. ● Join us in our mission to combat global injustice. ●We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical and data skills to join our global Accounting team. ● In this role, you''ll prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue data packages that keep our books accurate, auditable, and US GAAP compliant — while writing the SQL and building the automation that makes those processes scalable as we prepare for public company readiness. ●You''ll report to a US-based Revenue Accounting leader (Eastern Time) and partner daily with accounting, data, and payment reconciliation colleagues across the globe. ● This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable posting a journal entry in an ERP and querying a data warehouse — and who gets energized by fixing broken processes, not just running them. ●What You''ll DoPrepare complete, review-ready journal entries across revenue, accounts receivable, payment provider settlements, chargebacks/refunds, taxes, and intercompany — with full supporting detail for ERP postingPrepare account reconciliations, flux analyses, and supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual closeWrite and maintain SQL queries against our data warehouse to extract and validate the data behind accruals and ASC 606 revenue recognitionSupport payment service provider (PSP) reconciliations — validating settlement, refund, chargeback, and fee data across geographies and currencies, and flagging discrepanciesDocument processes end-to-end and support SOX readiness, responding to internal and external audit requests as the preparer with full traceability from source to outputIdentify manual, error-prone steps and automate them — including with AI-enabled tooling — partnering with Data Engineering, IT, and FinTech teamsWhat We''re Looking For~8 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on journal entry preparation and month-end close ownershipAccounting degree with CRC or equivalent professional qualification (CPA-equivalent)Solid working knowledge of US GAAP; hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience is a major plusStrong SQL skills — able to write and adapt queries against large-scale data warehouses (BigQuery or similar)Proficiency with an ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or similar): chart of accounts, journal entry posting, validation, and drill-down analysisExperience supporting internal or external audits; exposure to SOX controls and documentationFluent English — this role works daily with a US-based team during Eastern Time hoursNice to HaveBig 4 or large multinational (Fortune 500-scale) background; IPO or public company readiness experienceIndustry experience with complex, high-volume revenue models (tech/marketplace, retail, media, manufacturing)Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and scripting for automationWho Thrives HereSomeone gritty and curious who gets into the weeds, asks questions, and comes with proposed solutions. ● We''re moving fast toward a bigger goal: priorities pivot, hours can stretch during peak periods, and feedback is direct. ● If you like ambiguity, ownership, and building processes that didn''t exist yesterday, you''ll fit right in!What we offerCompetitive compensation packageComprehensive medical insurance coverage. ●Meal allowanceDental InsuranceHybrid settingOpportunity for advancement and upward mobility within the organization, allowing for increased levels of responsibility and growth within the company.
