Why this role exists

Currently, the owner personally handles much of the AI-assisted production work within the agency. This includes designing social media content, building websites, generating content with AI tools, and migrating websites onto a modern development stack.

The systems are working extremely well, allowing the agency to move faster than teams much larger in size. However, he has become the bottleneck.

They are now looking for someone who can take ownership of execution so leadership can focus more heavily on strategy, growth, and client relationships.

The role

This position is equal parts:

• AI fluency
• Design and web development
• Both skill sets must be strong.

On the AI side:

Their ideal candidate actively uses tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini as part of a daily workflow. They understand prompting for content, imagery, coding, research, and strategy. They see AI as a multiplier for creativity and execution rather than a replacement for skill.

On the design and development side:

The candidate should be able to design professionally in Canva and Photoshop while maintaining brand consistency across multiple industries and aesthetics. They should also feel comfortable building and migrating websites using tools such as Next.Js, Vercel, GitHub, and AI-assisted coding workflows.

The team values people who understand the balance between beautiful design and conversion-focused performance.

Agency experience is strongly preferred, especially for someone familiar with fast turnarounds, proactive communication, and problem-solving before issues escalate.

What the role includes

• Designing social media content for multiple brands and industries
• Building and migrating websites onto modern frameworks
• Using AI tools to accelerate production workflows
• Assisting with content creation, research, image generation, and code scaffolding
• Creating designs that are both visually strong and performance-driven
• Staying current on new AI tools, workflows, and technologies
• Collaborating with leadership to improve internal systems and efficiency

What our client is looking for

• Strong AI workflow experience using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools
• Professional Canva and Photoshop skills
• Comfort using GitHub, Vercel, and modern web development workflows
• Basic SEO understanding
• Strong understanding of social media design across platforms
• Strong written and spoken English
• Availability during US Central Time business hours
• Previous agency experience preferred
• A highly proactive and self-directed mindset

What they DO NOT want

• Someone who requires constant follow-up
• Someone who treats AI as a gimmick or shortcut
• Someone who forces one design style onto every brand
• Someone who confuses being busy with being effective
• Someone unwilling to continuously learn and adapt

Portfolio required

Applicants must submit a live portfolio URL with their application.

Their team would like to see:

• At least 5 projects
• A mix of social media and website work
• At least one live website built end-to-end
• Optional examples showing how AI supported the workflow
