About the position:
We are looking for a HR Generalist Specialist/Coordinator who is committed and passionate about people! This role will be responsible for the full scope of HR generalist functions -- from employee lifecycle management, to talent development, to business partnering with local leadership and supporting initiatives from our HQ in Singapore. Our ideal candidate would be able to run with us, adapt to our employees' needs, and stay humble throughout. Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all Garena Brazil employees, providing guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance management, development, offboarding)
Manage and oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with CLT (Brazilian Labor Laws), Collective Labor Agreement, and applicable regulations
Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, action planning, and team-level interventions
Oversee internal communications strategy and execution for the BR office
Manage Learning & Development programs, including budget administration, internal training, and vendor coordination
Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management
Conduct compensation analysis and support salary proposals for new hires and internal movements
Coordinate performance review cycles (mid-year and year-end conversations)
Manage employee relations matters independently, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Represent the BR People team in cross-functional projects and HQ-driven initiatives
Contribute to People team related AI initiatives Main job requirements: 8+ years' experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a generalist or HR business partner capacity
Superior/higher degree completed
Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor law (CLT) and employment regulations is a must
Strong background in HR Operations is a must
Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle independently
Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is a must
Strong stakeholder management skills - able to influence and advise senior leaders
Strong ethics, discretion, and judgment in handling sensitive matters
Experience with employee engagement, L&D, and talent development
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in the tech or gaming industry is a plus
Experience in using or developing AI solutions
Team player with a collaborative mindset
Available to work in person at our office in São Paulo, SP (Hybrid mode).
