Contractor, Accounting Analyst
PTC Therapeutics
PTC Therapeutics seeks a contractor accounting analyst to support day-to-day accounting operations for the LATAM region, reporting to the Associate Manager of Accounting. The role involves financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and coordination with external accounting firms.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and general accounting journal entries
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and accounting controls including provisions and GAAP analysis
- Conduct payroll accounting review and support LATAM region accounting and tax closing processes
- Coordinate with outsourced accounting firms and monitor third-party reconciliations for compliance
- Support external and internal audits; participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or controllership in multinational environments
- Fluent in English (oral and written); Spanish preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and collaboratively
