General Foreman - Detalhes da Vaga. ● ALEC will be holding interviews in the following cities. ●Sau Paulo, BrazilRio de Janeiro, BrazilBogota, ColumbiaWho We are?ALEC Engineering and Contracting L. ●L. ●C. ● (ALEC), part of ICD, is a leading GCC construction company known for delivering complex, high-profile projects. ● With 20+ years of experience, ALEC builds across sectors including airports, hospitality, retail, and high-risesIn the UAE, ALEC has delivered many of the nation’s most iconic developments, operating as a fully integrated contractor through specialist business units that provide end-to-end construction solutions. ●ALEC Building forms the structural heart of the Group, delivering high-value construction projects from foundation to finish. ● Whether commercial towers or luxury hospitality developments, we build safely, collaboratively, and with precision, laying the groundwork for long-term success. ●Why Join Us?As a General Foreman, you’ll lead multiple structural work zones, from formwork and concrete to steel and blockwork. ● You’ll manage a team of Senior Foremen, ensuring all structural activities are planned, resourced, executed, and handed over to the highest technical and safety standards. ● Your role is critical to coordinating construction efforts, maintaining productivity, and upholding ALEC’s commitment to quality and environmental compliance. ●About Your TeamYou’ll report to the Section Manager and lead teams of Senior Foremen, Foremen, and labour across various structural disciplines. ● You’ll work closely with planning, procurement, safety, and QA/QC teams to ensure seamless execution across all phases of work. ●Your RoleAs a General Foreman, you will:Lead and support Foremen in managing labour and tradesmen across all structural work fronts. ●Interpret structural drawings and ensure accurate site setup and execution. ●Plan resources effectively and manage site access, logistics, and emergency readiness. ●Ensure the timely procurement and correct usage of construction materials and plant. ●Enforce ALEC’s safety policies, ensuring work is carried out using the proper PPE and safety procedures. ●Manage heavy equipment and ensure only qualified operators handle machinery. ●Coordinate across structural teams including carpentry, steel, rebar, blockwork, and concrete. ●Drive productivity initiatives, ensuring teams work at optimal efficiency. ●Lead by example, coach site teams, and identify upskilling needs for unskilled labour. ●Ensure compliance with ISO standards, carry out quality audits, and implement corrective actions. ●Support environmental management before, during, and after construction phases. ●Oversee the structural handover process with complete documentation and quality verification. ●What We’re Looking ForExperience: 10+ years in construction with at least 2 years as a Senior Foreman, specifically in structural works. ●Certifications: First Aider qualification is required. ●Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural works including formwork, blockwork, rebar, and carpentry. ●Leadership: Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary site teams and interface with support functions. ●Planning & Coordination: Skilled in short-term planning, resource control, and progress tracking. ●Communication: Effective communicator who builds trust across teams and levels. ●Safety & Quality: Committed to site safety and consistent delivery to quality standards. ●What We Offer· The chance to contribute to some of UAE most iconic projects. ●· A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence. ●· Opportunities for professional growth and career progression. ●Ready to plan the path to project success?If you’re inspired by what you’ve read and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you. ●Join ALEC and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing team that drives our success. ●Apply today and be part of something excellent!Kindly upload your CV in English. ●.
