manufactured products meet technical specifications and customer requirements.Strengthen inspection, testing, release, and non-conformance processes.Improve first-pass yield and reduce internal quality failures.Ensure effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing-related quality issues.Work closely with Engineering and the Quality Management System function to address systemic and recurring quality problems.Develop a quality-at-the-source culture within Manufacturing.Maintenance CoordinationAct as the primary business owner for the outsourced maintenance contract.Manage the relationship and performance of the contracted maintenance provider.Define priorities and coordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.Ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production priorities and operational requirements.Monitor service quality, responsiveness, execution, and contractual performance.Develop and track maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, downtime, response time, and completion of preventive maintenance activities.Ensure that preventive maintenance plans are appropriate for critical production equipment.Coordinate maintenance planning with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to minimize production disruption.Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.Identify recurring equipment issues and lead root-cause analysis together with the maintenance provider and Engineering.Recommend equipment improvements, upgrades, or replacement when justified by reliability, safety, quality, or productivity.Ensure that maintenance contractors comply with all applicable site safety requirements while working on site.Lean Manufacturing & Continuous ImprovementLead the development of a strong Lean and continuous improvement culture across Manufacturing.Establish continuous improvement as part of daily management rather than as isolated projects.Identify and systematically eliminate waste, bottlenecks, rework, waiting time, unnecessary movement, and process variation.Implement and sustain Lean tools and methodologies appropriate to the operation, including standard work, visual management, 5S, root-cause analysis, problem solving, flow improvement, and workplace organization.Establish structured daily management and performance review routines.Develop visual management boards and clear operational KPIs at shop-floor level.Promote structured problem-solving methodologies and fact-based decision-making.Lead Kaizen and focused improvement activities when appropriate.Improve manufacturing flow, workstation design, material movement, layout, and ergonomics.Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to reduce lead times and
