As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing organization, oversee department leadership, and help shape the future of our agency.
Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Director will serve as a senior leader within the company, responsible for overseeing the performance, strategy, and development of multiple marketing departments.
This role is not responsible for executing campaigns directly. Instead, the Marketing Director will lead and develop department managers across SEO, Paid Media, Social Media, Design, Copywriting, Content, and Marketing Operations while ensuring alignment, accountability, operational efficiency, and client success.
The ideal candidate is a proven marketing leader with agency experience, strong business acumen, exceptional people management skills, and a deep understanding of modern digital marketing strategies, analytics, automation, AI, and performance marketing.
This individual will play a critical role in scaling Smart Age Solutions while maintaining the quality, innovation, and results that define our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's overall marketing vision and departmental strategy.
- Align marketing initiatives with company growth objectives, revenue goals, retention targets, and client success metrics.
- Establish department-wide KPIs, accountability systems, and performance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
Department Leadership
- Manage and mentor department managers across:
- SEO
- Paid Media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Programmatic)
- Social Media
- Design & Creative
- Copywriting & Content
- Marketing Operations
- Create clear growth paths, coaching programs, and professional development plans for leaders and team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Performance & Analytics
- Establish and monitor KPIs across all service lines.
- Analyze performance trends and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Drive data-informed decision-making throughout the organization.
- Ensure departments are delivering measurable results for clients.
- Oversee reporting frameworks, dashboards, forecasting, and performance reviews.
Client Strategy & Growth
- Partner with Account Management and Executive Leadership to support high-level client strategy.
- Participate in key client meetings and executive reviews when strategic leadership is required.
- Help identify opportunities for account growth, retention, and improved client outcomes.
- Ensure marketing strategies align with client business goals and industry best practices.
Innovation & Technology
- Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and emerging marketing technologies.
- Evaluate new platforms, tools, and technologies that improve efficiency and results.
- Drive innovation initiatives across departments.
- Help position our company as a leader in digital marketing within the jewelry industry.
Operational Excellence
- Improve workflows, processes, SOPs, and cross-department collaboration.
- Ensure departments are properly staffed, resourced, and structured for growth.
- Work closely with executive leadership to forecast hiring needs and organizational development.
- Assist in building scalable systems that support the company's long-term growth strategy.
Financial Management
- Monitor departmental performance against revenue and profitability goals.
- Assist with resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning.
- Ensure efficient utilization of team resources while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent English, written and verbal communication skills.
- 8+ years of digital marketing experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven success leading teams across SEO, Paid Media, Social Media, Content, and Creative.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, analytics, attribution, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Experience working within a digital marketing agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and optimize high-performing teams.
- Strong business, operational, and financial acumen.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.
Preferred
- Experience in eCommerce, luxury, retail, or jewelry industries.
- Experience implementing AI and automation solutions within marketing operations.
- Experience with platforms such as:

- HubSpot
- Shopify
- Looker Studio
- SEMrush
- Whatagraph
- Asana, ClickUp, Monday, Jira, or similar project management platforms
- MBA or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
