Nível Acadêmico: Ensino Superior Completo Turno/Horas -- Áreas de Atuação Profissional: TI - Projetos Descrição: Required QualificationsData Engineer (SQL Server / SSIS / SAP BODS-BW) Senior Main Activities and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will work on the data behind the SELLIN reports of the Tax Reform project. In simple terms, this person makes sure that sales data coming from the company's SAP system is correctly prepared, stored and updated with the new Brazilian taxes, so that the business can trust the numbers it sees. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role: the candidate builds and fixes the data flows, but does not lead the team or own the relationship with the client. He/she reports to the Tech Lead and works closely with the SAP functional consultants. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and is comfortable working with the more demanding SAP-based data flow (which makes this the harder of the two engineering roles). What to look for in the candidate: - Solid, senior-level experience as a Data Engineer working with Microsoft data tools (SQL Server, SSIS) and with SAP data sources (BODS / BW). This SAP experience is essential for this specific role. - A track record of changing and maintaining large company databases without breaking what already works. - Comfort with detailed, careful work: this person will be checking that totals and tax values come out exactly right. - Someone reliable under deadlines, as this role is busy and central during the build phase of the project. - A good team player who takes direction from a Tech Lead and coordinates with other technical colleagues, rather than someone looking to manage people or clients. Soft Skill (Personal characteristics)Good communication skills are mandatory, as well as proactivity. It is a must that the person knows english, even though the project will be handled in portuguese. The main reason for this is a client's request emphasizing that at any time the resources might be demanded to defend their analysis about something related to Project Scope directly to the global team representative. Apart from that, interaction with offshore people from distinct areas will demand a good fluency in english. The professional must be able to communicate in good english with streams which are not included in the project and just speak english. Specifically for this role: ability to handle the high ETL complexity introduced by the SAP/BODS dependency, and to defend data-integrity results (record counts and tax sums) before the Fiscal and Sales Finance teams.
