continuously evolve to meet growing market demands. ●ResponsibilitiesTeam Management & People DevelopmentManage and support the engineering team ±20 people in LATAM (incl. ● but not only Brazil) through regular 1:1 meetings. ●Build strong relationships with team members and maintain a healthy and productive team environment. ●Support engineers in their professional development and career growth. ●Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback. ●Identify performance issues early and create improvement plans when necessary. ●Support employee engagement, motivation, and retention. ●Handle and help resolve conflicts within the team. ●Onboarding & OffboardingManage the onboarding of new team members and ensure smooth integration into the company and client teams. ●Support engineers during their first months on the project and monitor their adaptation and performance. ●Manage the offboarding process and coordinate communication with internal teams and client stakeholders when required. ●Recruitment & StaffingManage the recruitment process for new engineers in cooperation with the Recruitment team. ●Clarify position requirements, seniority, technical expectations, and team needs. ●Participate in candidate evaluation and final hiring decisions. ●Monitor staffing progress and proactively address hiring challenges. ●Support workforce planning and identify future staffing needs. ●Stakeholder & Client ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders. ●Understand client expectations, priorities, concerns, and business needs. ●Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide visibility into team performance, staffing, risks, and delivery-related topics. ●Manage client expectations and proactively address potential issues. ●Handle difficult conversations and conflicts between the client, engineers, and the company. ●Represent the company''s interests while maintaining a strong and trusted relationship with the client. ●Escalate risks and critical issues appropriately and work with both sides toward mutually acceptable solutions. ●Business Development & Account GrowthUnderstand the client''s organization, business objectives, and future plans. ●Identify opportunities to expand cooperation with existing clients. ●Recognize potential needs for additional engineers, teams, or services and communicate opportunities internally. ●Participate in discussions related to new roles, team extensions, and new areas of cooperation. ●Build relationships with additional stakeholders within the client organization. ●Support account growth by maintaining high client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further partnership. ●Work closely with Delivery, Sales, Recruitment, and other internal teams on account development. ●Operational ManagementMonitor team allocation, staffing changes, performance risks, and retention risks. ●Coordinate internal processes related to employees working on client accounts. ●Ensure important information is communicated between the client, engineers, and internal company stakeholders. ●Identify operational risks and proactively propose solutions. ●Support planning related to team structure, replacements, transfers, and future growth. ●Skills & Experience RequiredManagement ExperienceExperience managing software engineering teams. ●Strong people-management and coaching skills. ●Experience conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, development discussions, and difficult conversations. ●Ability to identify performance and motivation issues and take appropriate action. ●Strong conflict-management and problem-solving skills. ●Outsourcing / IT Services ExperiencePrevious experience working in an IT outsourcing, consulting, nearshore, or software services company is highly preferred. ●Understanding of the relationship between the client, outsourcing company, and engineers assigned to the client project. ●Experience balancing client expectations with company and employee interests. ●Understanding of common outsourcing challenges, including staffing, retention, performance management, replacements, rate discussions, and client satisfaction. ●Ability to act as a trusted intermediary when disagreements or conflicts arise between the client and the company. ●Stakeholder ManagementStrong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills. ●Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. ●Experience working with international clients and distributed teams. ●Ability to manage expectations, negotiate priorities, and handle sensitive situations professionally. ●Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills. ●Business DevelopmentCommercial mindset and interest in developing existing client accounts. ●Ability to recognize new business and team-growth opportunities. ●Ability to understand client business needs beyond the immediate engineering scope. ●Experience participating in account-growth, staffing, or client-development discussions is preferred. ●Ability to build trusted relationships that can lead to
