Head Of Early Years - Detalhes da Vaga. ● The role leads teaching and learning, fosters a culture of inquiry and play-based learning, supports staff development, promotes student well-being, and builds strong partnerships with families while ensuring the successful implementation of the IB Primary Years Programme. ●Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Vision: Lead the strategic development of the Early Years section, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative culture. ●Teaching & Learning: Ensure the delivery of an outstanding inquiry-based, play-centred learning programme aligned with the IB PYP. ●Curriculum Leadership: Partner with the PYP Coordinator to strengthen curriculum implementation and maintain IB Programme Standards and Practices. ●Staff Leadership: Coach, develop, and inspire teachers through ongoing feedback, professional learning, and performance support. ●Student Well-being: Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports every child''s development and wellbeing. ●Family Partnerships: Build strong relationships with families through open communication and meaningful engagement in learning. ●Operations & Administration: Oversee the daily operation of the Early Years section, ensuring effective resource management and compliance with school policies. ●Assessment: Promote authentic assessment practices that inform teaching, learning, and student progress. ●Professional Learning: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration and professional development. ●Community Leadership: Represent the Early Years section within the wider school community and contribute to whole-school strategic initiatives. ●What We''re Looking ForBachelor''s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field. ●Teaching qualification. ●Significant experience teaching in Early Years. ●Previous experience in an IB PYP school. ●Demonstrated leadership experience. ●Strong understanding of child development. ●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ●Fluency in English. ●.
