We are seeking a skilled Light Technician to join a dynamic technical team in São Paulo, where youll play a central role in powering live productions, events, and studio-based projects.
What you'll do
- Set up, operate, and maintain lighting and technical equipment for live or continuous production environments, ensuring smooth operation, consistency, and high-quality results.
- Monitor and manage equipment during use; promptly troubleshoot and escalate technical issues when necessary.
- Work in close collaboration with other technical and production teams to integrate systems and support seamless workflows.
- Keep accurate logs of equipment usage, maintain attention to detail, and follow all safety and industry best-practice standards.
What were looking for
- Solid previous experience in technical operations ideally in studios, live events, broadcasting, or production environments.
- Ability to read technical plans or instructions, operate control systems, and work under pressure in fast-moving, live contexts.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken), with a collaborative mindset and readiness to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends when required.
- An eye for detail, organizational ability, and a relevant technical background or qualification (e.g. audiovisual, electronics, production technology, or similar).
