Mid-Level Corporate Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Act on advisory and contentious matters related to Corporate Law.
• Draft, review and analyze commercial contracts, notices, legal opinions, memoranda, corporate documents and other legal instruments.
• Monitor judicial, administrative and/or arbitration proceedings related to civil, commercial, corporate, consumer, regulatory or business matters.
• Support the assessment of legal risks in commercial, corporate and contractual transactions, considering business, regulatory and, when applicable, tax impacts.
• Interact with corporate clients to understand their legal needs and propose practical, secure solutions aligned with the business strategy.
• Conduct legal research — doctrinal, jurisprudential and legislative — and stay updated on changes relevant to the firm's clients.
• Assist partners in developing legal strategies, setting priorities and providing technical direction on matters.
• Manage deadlines, organize documents and ensure technical quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements

• Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Initial experience in Corporate Law, preferably in a law firm.
• Experience with commercial contracts, civil and/or corporate litigation and/or company law.
• Ability to manage matters autonomously, with a sense of responsibility and a practical business perspective.
• Organized, deadline-oriented and able to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Postgraduate studies or specialization in progress in Corporate Law, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Company Law, Compliance, LGPD, Tax or related areas.
