As a Process Engineer, you will work in projects and/or pre-projects engineering. Will take technical decisions and be responsible for developing and delivering technical solutions to our customers for projects from low to high technical complexity. This position will be in contact with many different areas within Tetra Pak, such as commercial, supply management, engineering, technical service, etc., and will be part of the front office team developing projects together with customer stakeholders and main suppliers.
This position is base in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil
You will be travelling up to 50% of your time to our customer sites.

What you will do

As a Process Engineer you will:

Develop technical solutions in projects, provide support in issue resolution, take part in technical discussions with customer and or end suppliers for engineering parts;
Develop technical solutions for engineering parts in Tetra Pak projects, working also with different applications, such as dairy, beverage, prepared food, plant-based, cheese, etc;
Work according to Project Time Plan and budget, be cost awareness for task at hand;
Estimate budget costs for engineering parts in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS);
Work according to the scope of supply in contract, including design changes and approved variation orders;
Create project documentation incl. test specifications;
Participate in tests and/or reviews in project work;
Support and participate on commissioning activities;
Design and perform calculation for piping, pumps and valves used at food industry;
Develop mass balance calculations and Production Time Schedule (PTS);
Create and develop Flow chart (P&ID) and layouts for food industry;
Read and understand an assembly drawing, for example tanks, pumps etc.;
Calculate plant and modules consumption;
Translate customer requirements to selected modules and other production solutions used at food industry;
Be able to define performance criteria;
Working in a multi-project environment where the role adapts to the needs of each individual project;
Act with full responsibility for technical solution and quality aspects of project performance, while securing project management buy in and being aligned with a focus on customer needs and satisfaction;

We believe you have

University Degree in any engineering course.
CREA certification.
Intermediate level in English.
Ability to read and understand a process and instrumentation diagram (PID).
Ability on problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability on communication and presentation skills.
Quality-focused.
Minimum 05 years of experience in process engineering, process design, quotation and/or project implementation and start-up/commissioning.
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Other Qualifications considered as a Plus:
- Spanish
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry
