Sr. Workday Application Engineer – Workday Integrations (Corporate Services)

Overview

Join a leading retail organization as a Senior Application Engineer focused on Workday integrations . In this role, you will own the integration layer that connects Workday to enterprise systems across payroll, compliance, legal, facilities, asset protection, and analytics.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Architecture, and business teams to build scalable, reliable integrations that improve operational efficiency and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support end-to-end Workday integrations across enterprise systems
• Partner with Product and Architecture teams to align on integration strategy, standards, and roadmap
• Own data flow and connectivity for employee (P&C) data across internal systems and third-party vendors

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise integration experience in complex environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Extend
• Deep experience with Workday integration tools:
• Workday Studio
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
• Core Connectors
• Experience building custom integrations for high-volume or complex scenarios
• Strong debugging skills (break/fix, data flow troubleshooting)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building self-healing integrations or proactive alerting systems
• Experience supporting global enterprise HR systems
• Exposure to downstream systems (payroll, compliance, vendors, etc.)
• Experience with Workday calculated fields and advanced data modeling

Compensation : $25-32/hour

Duration : 6+ months
