Context of the role

The Treasury team is responsible for all aspects of International Cash & Liquidity Management, Cashflow forecasting, Working Capital management and Foreign Exchange. The Treasury department is a friendly team-based environment that values interaction and exchange of ideas and knowledge. The Treasury Manager - Americas is based in the Americas, reporting to the Head of Treasury Operations, and working closely with the rest of the team in Singapore, Barcelona, Nairobi and Ecuador.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Americas Global Network Treasury Operations, including liquidity management, forecasting and FX operations.
• Work with the FX Manager & Network to operationalise new FX liquidity providers in the Americas.
• Work with the Bank Relationship Manager to develop an Americas operational banking roadmap and onboard new banks.
• Manage credit facilities as part of the broader pool of Treasury working capital in Americas.
• Evaluate, maintain, and improve the Treasury control framework and the Risk Register; work with the Head of Treasury Operations and the regional Treasury Managers to maintain the Policies and Procedures manual.
• Work with the Treasury Technology development team on automation projects.
• Manage and develop a team of high performing, globally distributed Treasury professionals.

Requirements

• The candidate will have at least 8 years of experience operating within a corporate or financial services’ Treasury function
• Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments
• Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants
• Familiar with online Banking platforms
• Knowledge of Payment Systems
• Proficient languages in English are required on daily business communications
