Function Description

As a 2nd Officer, you'll be an integral part of the bridge team, ensuring the safe navigation and efficient operation of offshore vessels. We're actively building a talent pool for exciting upcoming projects, and your experience could be exactly what we're looking for!

• Monitor and maintain safe navigation practices in compliance with company and international maritime regulations.
• Support offshore operations, including cable laying, pipelay, rock dumping, installation, and construction activities.
• Assist in the operation and monitoring of Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems where applicable.
• Coordinate with the bridge team, offshore crews, and project personnel to ensure efficient vessel operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to navigation and vessel operations.

Requirements

To excel as a Second Officer, you'll need to demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Second Officer on offshore vessels such as Cable Layers, Pipe Layers, Flexible Fallpipe Vessels (Rock Dumpers), Jack-Ups, Offshore Construction Vessels, or similar.
• Valid DP Operator Certificate (Unlimited)
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the rank.
• Valid National Medical Certificate (MLC) and Offshore Medical Certificate.
• BOSIET or FOET.
• GWO modules certification - considered an advantage.
• Permit to work in the EU.
• USA B1 Visa with wind farm activities annotation or UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) - considered a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
