Highway Maintenance Plow Operator

Overview

Brun-Way Highways Operations Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Winter Maintenance Plow Operator (Temporary) .

This position is responsible for operating snow removal equipment and performing highway maintenance activities to ensure safe road conditions during winter operations.

This role will be based in St-Léonard, NB .

Compensation: Hourly wage plus a $1,000 monthly winter bonus .

Your Role

• Operate snow plow and material spreader trucks.
• Perform snow and ice control activities including plowing and salting.
• Complete vehicle inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform general highway maintenance duties as required.
• Complete daily work records and reports.
• Work rotating shifts during Winter Operations.
• Overtime and on-call work may be required during winter weather events.

About You

• Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• General knowledge of highway maintenance operations is an asset.
• Valid Class 3 driver's licence.
• Clean driver's abstract.
• Able to work safely in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
