Senior Data Engineer.

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Data Engineer

to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines, supporting enterprise analytics, BI, and advanced data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain

scalable data pipelines and ETL processes

. Build and optimize

data storage solutions

(Azure Data Lake, SQL Database, Delta Lake). Automate data integration and transformation using

Azure services and Python

. Ensure

data security, governance, and compliance

(RBAC, encryption, auditing). Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for

performance and cost

. Integrate diverse data sources to support

analytics and AI initiatives

. Collaborate with

data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders

. Support advanced analytics applications and

mentor junior engineers

.

Mandatory Skills Strong experience in

ETL design, development, and optimization

. Advanced or fluent

English

. Advanced

SQL

(PL/SQL, T‑SQL). E

xperience in

Enterprise Data & Analytics architecture

. Strong hands‑on experience with the

Azure ecosystem

(ADF, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL DB, Cosmos DB). Proficiency in

Python

and building scalable data pipelines. Solid knowledge of

data modeling

and

relational/NoSQL databases

. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Desirable Skills Experience with

CI/CD and DevOps

practices and Infrastructure as Code. Experience with

MDM and Data Quality

tools. REST API development (Java Spring Boot or Python). Exposure to

AI/ML platforms

and

streaming solutions

(Event Hubs, Spark Streaming). Experience in

Agile environments

(Jira, Azure DevOps). Background in

Life Sciences or Biotechnology
