Responsabilidades

• Assist with compliance of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and the company’s policy.
• Assist in driving an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
• Assist and support thorough and accurate environmental audits for continuous improvement.
• Lead, coordinate and supervise the activities of waste coordinators at the site.
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Represent the company at appropriate levels with governmental agencies during inspections.
• Work collaboratively with other Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) Team in BR, contractors and consultants to ensure compliance and conformance with the company’s Environmental System.
• Drive the completion of environmental incident investigations.
• Assist with managing and handling regulated waste programs.
• Tracking of air emissions and other Key Operational metrics related to environmental performance.
• Assist with spill clean-ups and emergency response.

Requisitos

• Qualificações mínimas
  • Candidatos devem estar localizados e legalmente autorizados a trabalhar no Brasil.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience and ability to dive deep with engineering teams to understand operations process for environmental risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian environmental regulations.
  • Experience engaging with Regulatory Agency in permit application.
• Qualificações preferenciais
  • Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or environmental science or related field of study.
  • Preferred advanced English.
