Jr. Data Scientist

IQVIA seeks a junior data scientist to develop machine learning solutions and analytics deliverables for healthcare applications, including disease detection and patient outcome prediction using large-scale medical datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning models for disease detection and patient outcome prediction
- Translate client requirements into production-ready analytics solutions
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering on healthcare datasets
- Support both ML delivery and analytics projects in cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 1-3 years of data science or machine learning experience
- Background in healthcare, pharma analytics, or life sciences
- Strong Python proficiency including exploratory analysis and feature engineering
- Hands-on experience with healthcare datasets such as claims or EMR data
- Proficiency in regression, classification, clustering, and predictive modeling
- Solid understanding of statistical methods
- Git version control and software engineering best practices
