Role: Senior Salesforce & AWS Developer

Duration: Multi-year engagement
Position Overview
Insight Global is seeking multiple Senior Salesforce & AWS Developers to support a large-scale healthcare client (Sevita). This is a highly technical, hands-on role within a custom, enterprise environment where Salesforce serves as the system of record and AWS powers complex data processing and integrations.
The team is looking for proven, senior-level developers who can contribute immediately, own enhancements, and operate across both Salesforce and AWS ecosystems with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning, and custom components
- Build and maintain AWS-based services for data extraction, transformation, and distribution
- Integrate Salesforce with AWS services and downstream systems via REST APIs
- Support data flows to external partners, mobile applications, and state systems
- Own performance tuning, enhancements, and production support across platforms
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly customized, homegrown environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and integration issues
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong Salesforce expertise across:
- Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura
- SOQL, SOSL
- Flows, triggers, controllers, Lightning Apps
- Experience with custom objects, validation rules, workflows, reports, dashboards
- Experience with SFDX, deployments, and Salesforce administration tasks
- Strong experience with AWS development
- Proficiency in:
- Node.Js, Lambda, API Gateway
- SNS, SQS, IAM, Secrets Manager
- S3, DynamoDB, RDS
- Route 53 and networking fundamentals
- Strong experience with REST API integrations
- Experience with CI/CD, build & deployment processes, and application security
- Understanding of AWS architecture ( regions, availability zones, monitoring tools )
- Experience with CloudFormation and SAM deployments
- Ability to support large, complex enterprise systems across multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React.Js or front-end frameworks
- Exposure to Amplify or modern AWS full-stack tooling
- Familiarity with EventBridge or event-driven architectures
- Experience with automation or scripting (Groovy, CLI tools, etc.)
- Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360
