Sr Analyst Inventory Optimization & Allocation

Job Description

The Sr. Analyst Inventory Optimization is responsible for coordinating and executing inventory allocation for Mattel’s Brazil operation, ensuring that inventory is reserved and distributed across sales channels in an optimized way and aligned with the annual commercial strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Plays a key role in maximizing stock availability and improving inventory health.
• Supports business priorities through analysis of: Demand trends, channel performance, stock constraints, customer opportunities
• Coordinates inventory redistribution 
• Serves as a critical link between Sales, Replenishment, Demand Planning, Order Management
• Provides inventory visibility, data-driven recommendations, execution support for allocation decisions
• Focuses primarily on the Brazil market while collaborating with LATAM peers.
• Drives process improvements, standardization initiatives, and adoption of best practices across the region.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or related fields.
• Relevant years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Allocation, Replenishment, Demand Planning, Customer Fulfillment, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, allocation, and inventory optimization concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of demand planning, replenishment, service level, inventory coverage, and supply constraints.
• Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for process standardization, simplification, and automation.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across functions and countries.
• English: Intermediate/Advanced – required.

 

• Spanish: Intermediate – desirable, due to interaction with LATAM teams.
• Previous experience in Consumer Goods, FMCG, or Retail environments is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is desirable.
