Are you an MES architect with deep AVEVA expertise who enjoys combining solution architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on development? This role offers the opportunity to influence Kenvue’s global manufacturing digitization strategy, establish enterprise MES standards, drive technical innovation, and lead global delivery initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.

As the bridge between business requirements, solution design, and technical implementation, you will ensure MES solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term manufacturing transformation goals.

The Solution Architect Manager serves as the technical authority for Kenvue’s global MES ecosystem.

This role requires both strategic architectural leadership and hands-on technical execution. You will define architecture standards, participate directly in development activities, oversee system integrations, mentor development teams, and ensure successful deployment of manufacturing solutions across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture Leadership

Global MES Architecture Ownership

Own and evolve Kenvue’s global MES architecture. Maintain architecture consistency across: Manufacturing Sites Applications Interfaces Integrations Deployments Establish and govern enterprise architecture standards. Define reusable design patterns and technical frameworks. Drive long-term MES platform strategy.

Architecture Governance

Evaluate new requirements and assess solution impacts. Review and approve architectural decisions. Ensure alignment with manufacturing digitization objectives. Lead technical governance and compliance initiatives.

Hands-On Development & Technical Leadership

MES Development

Actively participate in: MES Configuration Solution Development System Enhancements Technical Troubleshooting Develop proof-of-concept solutions. Build complex MES components and technical capabilities. Support production issue resolution for critical manufacturing systems.

Technical Quality Assurance

Conduct: Design Reviews Code Reviews Solution Reviews Architecture Assessments Establish development standards and best practices. Ensure technical consistency across all development efforts.

Technical Mentorship

Mentor internal developers and external implementation partners. Provide technical coaching and architectural guidance. Support professional development within the MES organization.

Global MES Template Ownership

Product & Template Evolution

Drive continuous improvement of the Global MES Template. Ensure solutions remain: Scalable Maintainable Reusable Configurable Evaluate enhancements and modernization opportunities.

Global Deployment Support

Support MES rollout and implementation activities globally. Lead discussions related to new capabilities and future platform enhancements. Ensure consistent deployment practices across manufacturing sites.

System Integration & Enterprise Architecture

Integration Architecture

Design and support integrations between:

AVEVA MES System Platform (L2) Enterprise Applications Manufacturing Systems Databases APIs Business Systems

Enterprise Connectivity

Define integration standards and technical patterns. Ensure reliable and secure data exchange. Support interoperability across operational technology and enterprise platforms.

Vendor & Partner Management

Technical Oversight

Provide technical leadership for:

Internal Development Teams Architects System Integrators External Consultants

Vendor Governance

Review and challenge external solution proposals. Validate technical recommendations and implementation approaches. Ensure compliance with Kenvue architecture standards.

AVEVA Collaboration

Partner with: AVEVA Support Product Teams Research & Development Teams Escalate and resolve complex technical challenges when necessary.

Delivery & Technical Program Leadership

Requirements Translation

Work closely with Business Analysts during solution design activities. Help translate Functional Design Specifications (FDS) into technical solutions.

Technical Design Ownership

Develop and maintain :

Agile Delivery Support

Support sprint planning activities. Define and prioritize technical workstreams. Break complex requirements into executable development tasks. Ensure development teams maintain consistent requirement interpretation.
