Overview of the role:
The Data Privacy & Compliance Specialist position involves supporting data protection initiatives and helping maintain regulatory compliance. This role focuses on developing privacy procedures, conducting assessments, and contributing to the implementation of data handling best practices while ensuring adherence to privacy regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the implementation of data privacy policies and procedures.
- Conducting privacy assessments and compliance reviews.
- Helping ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Participating in incident response and data breach procedures.
- Contributing to privacy training and awareness programs.
- Monitoring compliance activities and maintaining documentation.
Requirements:
- Professional Experience: 3+ years in data privacy, compliance, or related fields.
- Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of data protection regulations and principles.
- Assessment Experience: Familiarity with privacy assessments and compliance processes.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of data security concepts.
- Communication Skills: Good analytical and communication abilities.
- Language Skills: Advanced level of English.
