EDI Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for an EDI Integration Developer to support the evolution and maintenance of enterprise integration solutions within a global technology environment. This professional will contribute to the delivery, enhancement, and support of B2B/EDI integration services, ensuring operational stability and alignment with business requirements.

The role also includes participation in deployment activities, technical documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and support continuity.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance EDI/B2B integration solutions based on business and technical requirements.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to define integration flows and message exchange standards.

• Design and configure file and message transfer solutions using communication protocols such as AS2, X.400, and email.

• Support integration implementations across areas such as finance, logistics, supply chain, and banking operations.

• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation related to integrations and system configurations.

• Participate in deployment and go-live support activities, ensuring adherence to governance and change management processes.

• Analyze impacts of integration changes across connected applications and interfaces.

• Ensure delivered solutions comply with internal standards, quality requirements, and delivery timelines.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the integration landscape.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Solid experience in EDI development, support, and system integration environments.

• Proven experience integrating business processes related to finance, logistics, supply chain, or banking into EDI ecosystems.

• Experience working with international or multicultural environments is considered a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP integrations is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of EDI and B2B integration concepts, architecture, and support processes.

• Experience with data/message standards such as EDIFACT, XML, and custom integration formats.

• Familiarity with file transfer and messaging technologies including MQ, AS2, and X.400.

• Experience with middleware and integration platforms.

• Understanding of application lifecycle management and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

• Knowledge of IBM Sterling / SCBN environments is considered advantageous.

• Programming knowledge in languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or C++ is a plus.

• Familiarity with enterprise middleware technologies such as IBM WebSphere or similar platforms.

• Advanced English is mandatory.
