Responsibilities

Master Data Operations

• Manage day‑to‑day master data operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks.
• Maintain vendor, material, and service master records (creation, updates, modifications, deletions) in alignment with SLA requirements across multiple regions.
• Perform data cleaning, enrichment, and standardization activities to improve overall data quality.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with global governance requirements and internal sourcing policies, including ethics, environmental stewardship, social responsibility, localization, and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams, preparing documentation, evidence, and supporting materials to address findings and implement recommended actions.

Vendor Management

• Drive centralized vendor management by maintaining accurate records, consistent classification, and risk validation.
• Establish and monitor vendor accounts, including non‑preferred vendor listings, to ensure compliance and sustainability reporting.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enrichment of vendor data to support continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement & Systems Support

Track, measure, and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to master data processes.

• Coordinate with UAT teams to support testing, validation, and deployment of system or process changes.
• Prepare operational and analytical reports, and support automation of recurring tasks.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Respond to client and supplier queries, providing timely and effective resolutions within stipulated timeframes.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of master data services and alignment with business needs.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Master Data Management & planning, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment of material, service, & vendor master records
• Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality practices, including cleansing and standardization in large‑scale ERP environments.
• Industry experience in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry preferred.
• Expertise in material and vendor master data, with familiarity in MDM tools (e.G., SAP MDG, Informatica).
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, with emphasis on master data governance.

Technical / Functional Competencies

• Proficiency in SAP MM, Excel, & data analysis tools
• Knowledge of UNSPSC, ISO standards, and material classification systems
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (e.G., SAP, Oracle), including workflow processes
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
• Understanding of governance methodologies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and resilience across material, service, and vendor records.
