Cross Border Tech Compliance Adviso

Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Valparaíso de Goiás, GO. This role focuses on advising SFAP community members and partner organizations on technology-related compliance requirements affecting cross-border finance and accounting activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring relevant regulations and standards, preparing guidance materials, and reviewing processes to ensure adherence to data protection, cybersecurity, and fintech compliance norms. The Advisor will collaborate with stakeholders to assess risk, recommend controls for technology platforms and tools, and support the implementation of compliant workflows. The role also involves conducting awareness sessions and drafting reports, policies, and procedures that are clear, practical, and aligned with applicable regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of cross-border compliance, including regulatory frameworks relevant to finance, accounting, and technology-enabled services. Candidates should possess skills in technology risk assessment, data protection practices, and cybersecurity principles related to financial systems and digital platforms. Candidates should possess the ability to analyze complex regulations, interpret legal and technical requirements, and translate them into practical policies and procedures. Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including the capacity to prepare clear documentation, deliver training sessions, and engage with diverse stakeholders. Candidates should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives. Relevant experience in compliance, audit, or advisory roles within finance, accounting, or fintech environments is beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in law, finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in compliance, risk management, or data protection are a plus. Familiarity with regional and international regulatory bodies, cross-border data transfer rules, and industry best practices in governance and ethics is advantageous.
