Senior Finance Manager, Controllership

Position Overview

Senior Finance Manager – Controllership, Brazil. Supports regional finance operations, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and driving strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of strategic financial projects aligned with company goals.
• Manage a significant area within the finance function, ensuring operational excellence.
• Provide strategic guidance to team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Engage independently with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive operational process improvements and automation initiatives for accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as the technical voice of the team on GAAP, trends, and new ideas.
• Ensure clear communication and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Promote inclusion and diversity in leadership and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in accounting and finance, preferably multinational.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
• Proven track record of financial process improvements and automation.
• Experience with implementing a Shared Center is desired.
• Proficiency with financial analysis software and ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Experience in tech or entertainment industry desirable but not essential.
