We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to be assigned to our Regulatory team located in Rio de Janeiro .

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
• 3–5 years of professional experience in corporate law, contracts, regulatory matters, or related legal fields;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken);
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and international environment;
• High level of integrity, accountability, and business orientation;
• Previous experience in the energy sector, infrastructure, arbitration, or law firms will be considered an advantage;
• Availability to travel when required

• Monitor compliance with regulations applicable to the electricity and natural gas sectors.
• Monitor and analyze reports and communications issued by sector institutions and regulatory agencies, including ONS, CCEE, ANEEL, MME, and ANP, related to company assets and operations.
• Support the control and execution of sectoral charges, payments, and regulatory obligations.
• Support the company’s interactions with regulatory institutions, governmental entities, and sector associations whenever required.
• Monitor public hearings, public consultations, and administrative proceedings, and prepare related analyses and contributions.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in the electricity and natural gas sectors, including updates, resolutions, and regulatory acts issued by relevant authorities.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, records, and internal tracking files in line with company standards and compliance requirements.
• Support cross-functional coordination with commercial, operational, legal, and finance teams regarding regulatory matters.
• To control accuracy of all work and processes that (s)he carried out, to ensure agreement with relevant parties and to be responsible for the results.
• To comply with the procedures, instructions, and regulations of all implemented Management Systems and to ensure compliance with the rules, and to execute his/her processes/activities in accordance with related documents.
