Managing Director Latam - Detalhes da Vaga. ● Managing Director PSA/BDP InternationalScope- Full P&L responsibility of the logistics operations in LATAMRevenue and Gross Margin/EBITDA- Accountable for the fiscal and operational oversight, leadership, direction and overall management of LATAM; and sales of diverse products and services in large markets to ensure that growth and profitability goals and objectives are met- Responsible for implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures- Work closely with and provide leadership to departmental Directors responsible for operations, sales, customer services and transport- Responsible for the strategic development of ocean and air freight services, trade lanes and customer portfolio- Develop and improve operational procedures across multiple offices in Latin American countries- Work directly with the region management team to establish regional and local goals within the parameters of the region operation''s business plan- Develop and execute policies, plans, and programs to meet anticipated organizational needs in the areas of functional responsibility- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, customer service, operations, IT and corporate administration to ensure efficient operations- Interact at a senior level with major ocean and air freight account customers- Implement and drive a commercial strategy to ensure the continued growth of the company- Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of direct reports to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are metRequirements- Undoubtedly you will have worked in a senior level function for a large sea or air freight forwarding company- Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience- Minimum twelve years related experience in progressively responsible roles in similar environments required- Minimum seven years industry experience preferred- Minimum seven years supervisory or managerial experience required- Knowledgeable of LATAM retail markets and carrier negotiations- You will be a dynamic and well-motivated leader, able to inspire people at all levels within a business- Importantly you will have a high degree of business acumen with the outstanding commercial skills required to increase profit in the highly competitive ocean freight sector- With extensive experience of major ocean freight trade lanes, you will have detailed product knowledge particularly in the LATAM markets.
