Wanted: Product Owner - Project

We are looking for a remote, full-time Product Owner with 3–5 years of experience working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and product design. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical execution, translating user, data, and operational requirements into scalable product features and functional solutions.

This project has a 3-6 month duration with a possibility for long-term engagement

As the Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define feature requirements, refine user stories, and collaborate on mockups, layouts, and overall product workflows. You will help guide frontend feature development while maintaining a strong understanding of backend processes and data flows to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business goal

The ideal candidate is business-minded but technically proficient, someone who understands what users need, can clearly communicate requirements to engineering teams, and can contribute to feature planning beyond just UI-focused improvements. Responsibili tiesAct as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, product teams, and the Data Operations / Engineering team responsible for building and maintaining an enterprise data platf orm.Define, refine, and prioritize requirements for a data platform that supports the acquisition, transformation, validation, storage, and distribution of observational, reference, and master d ata.Translate complex business and operational needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and implementation-ready documentat ion.Prioritize the data platform and integration roadmap against business goals, technical dependencies, operational needs, and competing stakeholder priorit ies.Partner with engineering teams to define scalable approaches for data ingestion, data quality, data normalization, schema design, and integration workfl ows.Coordinate with product managers and engineering teams to drive adoption of the data platform as a trusted source of truth for business-critical d ata.Support the scoping, build, QA, and release phases for platform features, data integrations, and backend workflow improveme nts.Develop and oversee QA protocols to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and usability before rele ase.Leverage AI and other productivity tools to help draft cohesive technical requirements, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and implementation documentat ion.Continuously refine data platform workflows to improve reliability, reduce implementation time, and support scalable onboarding of new data sour ces.Maintain a strong understanding of backend data flows while collaborating with product design and frontend teams when platform capabilities surface in user-facing workfl
