Opportunity – Data Engineer (Senior) | Brazil | Remote
Hi everyone,
We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global project supporting a leading multinational company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, building scalable data solutions that support decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives.
What you will be doing:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models
- Work across data lake environments, Snowflake, and Hive-based architectures
- Support analytics, reporting, and business performance monitoring
- Collaborate closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders
- Enable data infrastructure for machine learning and AI initiatives
- Contribute to the development of data products and applications (including Streamlit and chatbot-based solutions)
- Help evolve the data and ML ecosystem, supporting scalability and innovation
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms
- Strong experience with SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with Spark / PySpark
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based data platforms
- Experience with Snowflake (or similar data warehouse solutions)
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and governance
- Experience with Git / version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English (mandatory)
Nice to have:
- Experience with data lake / hybrid data environments
- Experience supporting ML pipelines or AI initiatives
- Exposure to Streamlit, data apps, or chatbots
- Experience in global / cross-functional environments
