Senior Procurement Specialist

Position Overview

This is not a traditional purchasing role.

We are looking for a procurement leader capable of building strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors, fabricators, and suppliers across the building envelope industry.

The ideal candidate understands construction procurement, supply chain management, sourcing strategies, and supplier negotiations within industries such as:

• Architectural Glass & Glazing
• Curtain Wall Systems
• Metal Fabrication
• ACM & Metal Panel Systems
• Building Envelope Products
• Insulation Systems
• Waterproofing & Air Barrier Systems
• Fasteners & Specialty Construction Products

This individual will play a direct role in improving project profitability, strengthening supplier partnerships, and creating scalable procurement processes to support Longarone's next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Longarone's procurement strategy.
• Negotiate national and international supplier agreements.
• Establish long-term strategic partnerships with manufacturers and distributors.
• Lead sourcing initiatives focused on cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
• Collaborate with Estimators and Project Managers during budgeting and project planning.
• Evaluate new suppliers, products, technologies, and market opportunities.
• Monitor commodity pricing trends and market fluctuations.
• Manage procurement forecasting and material planning.
• Improve procurement systems, reporting, and purchasing controls.
• Coordinate material purchasing, logistics, and delivery schedules.
• Present monthly procurement performance reports to executive leadership.

Desired BackgroundRequired

• 7+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience within construction, glazing, architectural glass, façade systems, building envelope, metal fabrication, or related industries.
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Proven track record of generating measurable cost savings.
• Ability to analyze pricing structures and supplier performance.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Highly Preferred

• Existing relationships with manufacturers and distributors in the façade, glazing, curtain wall, or architectural metals sectors.
• Experience purchasing materials for commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of Passive House, high-performance building systems, and modern façade technologies.
• Experience with ERP and procurement management software.
