Our client is a confidential leading international contractor in submarine cable and subsea systems, delivering complex offshore campaigns for the oil and gas sector. In Brazil, the client supports marine installation and subsea projects for a major national oil company and international energy operators, mobilising vessels, equipment and specialist teams into Brazilian waters. The local operation combines logistics, regulatory compliance, subcontractor coordination and offshore execution, and is central to the client's growth in the Brazilian offshore market.


Project scop

eThe assignment establishes the client's in-country operational presence in Brazil, with the Operations Manager acting as the on-site representative across all logistical and operational aspects of the client's offshore oil and gas projects. The role supports the project management team on every operational interface with key client operators and subcontractors, ensuring seamless execution, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of personnel, vessels and equipment

.During project execution the Operations Manager also serves as Deputy Offshore Project Manager (Deputy OPM) on site, handling day-to-day operations, logistics, planning and SIMOPS directly with the client. The role is mainly office-based in Rio de Janeiro, with onshore yard and offshore visits as project activity requires
