Purpose

• As Technical Manager, you lead the overall activities of the technical department and the preparation and execution support for maintenance, reliability, inspection, integrity, management of change, marine and process stability programs. You drive technical excellence, oversee operational strategies, and implement best practices to achieve production targets and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• You provide technical support and assurance for the operations in order to ensure the facilities Asset Integrity and Operational performance standards for the company are achieved, prioritizing reliability and Integirty programs in order to maximize the systems availability in all lines of defense.
• You manage and optimize daily technical operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• You lead troubleshooting efforts, providing expert solutions to complex operational challenges.
• You develop and implement strategies for operational improvements, enhancing productivity and reducing downtime.
• You coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and maintenance activities.
• You ensure all technical activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• You mentor and guide technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• You identify areas for operational and organizational optimization, recommending and implementing improvements.
• You lead the integration of new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• You lead the 3Y AI budget preparation in coordination with all leads within department aligned with strategic central team and the POB yearly plan, also monitor the yearly consumption.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical) or related field). A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the marine and/or offshore petrochemical industry, with suitable technical experience and knowledge of FPSO/FSO unit operations.
• Minimuim 5 years in a managerial role preferred
• Proven expertise in technical operations, process optimization, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of process safety in Oil & Gas.
