Account Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Director based in Brazil. This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a portfolio of strategically important enterprise customers within a global creative services environment. You will own the customer relationship from initial scoping through delivery, renewal, and expansion, combining strategic account leadership with commercial growth. The position sits at the intersection of customer strategy, operational execution, and long-term partnership development. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, cross-functional delivery teams, and creative and operational partners to turn business objectives into scalable programs. Success will involve strengthening retention, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring consistently high-quality delivery. The role is well suited to an experienced account leader who thrives in a remote, fast-paced, high-trust environment. Accountabilities: - Own the end-to-end relationship for a portfolio of 5–10 enterprise customers, strengthening retention, expansion, and executive-level trust. - Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify upgrade, expansion, and long-term growth opportunities. - Lead renewal processes and commercial negotiations in collaboration with leadership. - Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and procurement teams. - Translate customer objectives and business needs into scalable creative programs and solutions. - Partner with Project Managers and Producers to coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams and maintain a high-quality customer experience. - Serve as the senior escalation point for complex customer issues, resolving challenges quickly while maintaining confidence and trust. - Monitor account health, burn rates, pacing, performance, and profitability across assigned accounts. - Develop ROI-focused business cases that clearly demonstrate the value and business impact of proposed solutions.

- Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve customer outcomes, efficiency, and delivery. - Coach and develop Project Managers and Producers, strengthening delivery standards and customer management capabilities. - Collaborate with Creative, Product, and Operations teams to align resourcing, priorities, and execution with customer needs. Requirements: - 5–10+ years of experience in account management or client services within creative, marketing, digital, or related environments. - 3–5+ years of experience in an account leadership position such as Senior Account Manager, Group Account Manager, Account Director, or equivalent. - Proven experience managing and growing enterprise or high-value global customer accounts. - Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning or contributing to revenue, retention, and account growth targets. - Experience working with enterprise, SaaS, D2C, or B2B clients. - Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures and procurement processes. - Experience leading, coaching, and developing cross-functional teams. - Strong operational mindset, with the ability to scale delivery while maintaining quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. - Ability to translate broader business objectives into actionable programs, solutions, and measurable outcomes. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. - Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to managing complex accounts and competing priorities. - Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment across multiple time zones and cultures.
