Contract Length: 3-6 month (likely to extend) Location: Remote (Will work US CT Working Hours) Start Date: ASAP A fast-growing AI and IoT software company is building predictive intelligence platforms for the residential infrastructure and home services industry. Their technology combines connected devices, machine learning, and data-driven software to help service providers proactively identify and prevent equipment failures before they happen. They're looking for a Software Engineer to help shape and scale their next-generation web platform across customer experiences, operational tooling, and AI-powered dashboards. This is a high-ownership role within a small, high-calibre engineering team. They want someone who enjoys building products from scratch, understands systems and architecture, and can operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment. Key Experience Needed Experience building and scaling modern web applications Strong TypeScript and modern web architecture experience Experience building products from 0→1 through to scale Experience with scalable frontend systems and design systems Product-focused mindset with strong user and business understanding Comfortable working across Product, Design, Backend, and AI teams Able to work autonomously in fast-moving environments Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and engineering best practices Python/backend experience is highly desirable Experience with AI, IoT, or data-heavy products is beneficial Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and technical direction of the web platform Build scalable customer-facing products, internal tooling, and AI dashboards Develop shared frontend frameworks and platform infrastructure Collaborate closely with Product, Design, AI, and Backend teams Improve scalability, performance, and developer workflows Help shape engineering standards and technical direction Contribute hands-on across architecture, development, and problem solving Mentor engineers and help elevate engineering quality Software Engineer Contract Length: 3-6 month (likely to extend) Location: Remote (Will work US CT Working Hours) Start Date: ASAP
