Position Overview

The Head of Legal AI & Analytics will lead the transformation of our legal and compliance function through the design and deployment of AI-driven solutions. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to modernize workflows, enhance risk monitoring, and enable data-driven decision-making. This position has a direct impact on operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and the achievement of compliance and business MBOs.

What you'll do

Define and execute the AI and data strategy for Legal & Compliance, identifying high-impact use cases

Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions (risk detection, contract analysis, automation, monitoring)

Architect and integrate scalable data infrastructure across multiple systems and data sources

Lead adoption of generative AI (LLMs, RAG) to improve legal workflows and compliance processes

Develop dashboards and analytics to provide real-time insights into risk and program performance

Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Data, and IT teams to align priorities

Drive change management, training, and adoption of AI tools across the organization

Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership

Who you are

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

6+ years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, or analytics roles

Proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments

Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience with modern data stack tools (, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, dbt)

Exposure to legal, compliance, risk, or regulated environments (, GDPR, FCPA, SOX)

Strong communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders

Strategic thinker with strong execution and problem-solving abilities

Experience driving change and adoption of new technologies across teams

Self-starter with ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
