Job Title – HIL Validation Engineer

Job Location – Betim, Brazil

Duration – Full time

Experience level – 5+ Years

Mandatory Skills – dSPACE, CAN/LIN, Matlab, CANape

Required Skills & Experience:

Connect ECUs, sensors, and actuators to LabCar;
manage wiring harness and breakout box testing.

Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation for Body domain ECUs using dSPACE HIL systems (PHS/Scalexio).

Commission HIL rigs and debug hardware/software integration issues.

Develop HIL test specifications, create test cases, procedures, and reports.

Automate HIL tests using Python or CAPL scripting.

Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis in test environments.

Ensure compliance with Agile process, V&V lifecycle, and ASPICE standards.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills

Hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL hardware (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk).

Experience using Matlab/Simulink

Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols, UDS services, and ECU diagnostics.

Familiarity with CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape for communication setup and analysis.

Strong debugging skills for ECU functional software and HIL environment.

Experience in test automation frameworks and scripting ( Python/CAPL ).

Requirement management tools: DOORS, PREEVision.

Preferred Skills

Experience in BCM validation or HVAC system testing.

Knowledge of CAN-FD, FlexRay, Ethernet.

Understanding of HIL simulator models (dSPACE) and ARXML models.

Exposure to multi-ECU HIL setups and integration testing
