GameMaker Developer

We’re looking for a GameMaker Developer who is self-motivated, goal-orientated, and a strong team player. The ideal candidate will have extensive full-time GameMaker programming experience in games. As a GameMaker Developer, you will be contributing on the gameplay development of a game title. This includes design, development, coding, testing, and debugging. You will also estimate task completion and write technical design documents.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Implement and update features within GameMaker projects.
• Write clean reusable GML code.
• Collaborate with design to implement new features in GameMaker projects.
• Help design the architecture solutions required for the project.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a GameMaker Game Developer.
• Very strong skills in GameMaker.
• Capable of driving a feature by yourself, talking to everyone that’s needed to get the job done.
• Very strong debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technological changes as per project need.
• A passion for video games.

DESIRABLE PLUSES: 

• Involved in the development of at least one large game title from A-Z. 
• At least 1 GameMaker game released on consoles or mobile..
• Solid technical foundation (e.g. Computer Science / Maths Degree or equivalent).
