Senior Data Engineer (API).

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Data Engineer (API)

to design and build scalable, high‑performance applications and integrations, combining strong API development expertise with modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain

RESTful and GraphQL APIs

. Build scalable applications using

Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), and ReactJS

. Integrate APIs with

data pipelines and data platforms

. Ensure

scalability, performance, and reliability

using microservices and concurrency best practices. Drive architecture decisions across

application, data, and infrastructure layers

. Deploy solutions on

Azure

(SQL Server, Redis, App Services, API Management). Develop

test automation frameworks

to ensure data quality and reliability. Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills Strong experience in

Java (Spring, Maven) and Python

. Advanced or fluent

English

. Experience building

scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL) and microservices

. Knowledge of

ReactJS and TypeScript

for web development. Solid experience with

message-driven architectures

(Kafka, Service Bus, Tibco, MQ). Background in

Big Data environments

and system architecture. Experience with

multi-threading and high-concurrency systems

. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus).

Desirable Skills Experience with

Azure, AWS, or GCP

. Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders. Scripting experience (JavaScript, PowerShell, Shell, Regex). Experience with

AI/ML solutions

and data platforms. Background in

Life Sciences or data‑driven industries

. Knowledge of

test automation tools
