Senior Solutions Architect

Derflan is seeking a Solutions Architect to support a large global technology organization through a high-impact consulting engagement focused on cloud architecture, performance optimization, and enterprise workload modernization.

São Paulo, Brazil

. Candidates must currently live in São Paulo.

This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and enterprise performance optimization, supporting large-scale workloads across industries. The position focuses on designing and implementing cloud solutions, optimizing compute performance, and partnering with engineering, sales, and customer teams to drive adoption and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Customer Architecture & Technical Leadership • Design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures supporting enterprise workloads • Partner with customer executives, architects, and technical teams to drive cloud adoption • Provide technical guidance on complex architecture, performance, and infrastructure challenges • Conduct benchmarking, testing, and optimization of compute-intensive workloads

Customer Engagement & Delivery • Lead customer engagements with defined scope, deliverables, and success criteria • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and partner teams • Support deployment and optimization of enterprise workloads in cloud environments • Ensure successful execution of technical initiatives across customer accounts

Technical Advocacy & Knowledge Sharing • Act as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure and performance optimization • Document architectures, best practices, and solution patterns • Contribute to technical content including blogs, case studies, and enablement materials • Deliver technical sessions, workshops, and customer-facing presentations

Deliverables • Track customer adoption and usage of cloud infrastructure solutions • Support pipeline development through technical engagements and workshops • Provide technical documentation including architecture designs and solution frameworks • Contribute to sales and marketing collateral supporting enterprise solutions • Maintain reporting and tracking within internal systems

Required Qualifications • Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems • Experience supporting enterprise customer engagements • Experience with performance benchmarking and workload optimization •

Experience working at AWS (full-time or contract) is required • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts • Ability to collaborate across technical, sales, and partner teams

Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Solutions Architecture or similar roles • Experience with performance optimization and compute-intensive workloads • Experience supporting enterprise applications such as SAP, HPC, or AI/ML workloads • Cloud certifications (preferred) • Experience delivering technical content, workshops, or customer enablement
